Combining rolling scenery with timeless seaside views, it's not hard to see why these locations are so popular for self-catering holiday breaks.

An example of a holiday cottage in Dorset that I have stayed in was located in a delightful rural setting midway between the villages of Townshend and Godolphin.
the cottage was approximately 5 miles equal distance from the ancient market town of Helston and the attractive harbour town of Hayle with its glorious sandy beach popular with young families and surfers and beach activities. This provided a superb location for a self-catering family holiday.
Bournemouth now has its own International Airport, which is superb for visitors and tourists arriving in Dorset or Devon for their family holidays.
Cross channel ferries arrive and depart from Poole Harbour several times a day, providing a convenient
mode of transport for visitors' pleasure trips.
